Most difficult situations do not arise from ill will. They stem from a lack of understanding, pressure, uncertainty and the fear of losing a sense of control and safety. We know from our own practice how easily a constructive discussion can turn into a personal battle – and how costly that can be for companies, institutions and individuals.

We combine practice, theory and human psychology. We build on a deep knowledge of systemic dispute management combined with the practical psychology of communication and the handling of stress reactions. We do not hand out theoretical rules. We train working methods proven in hundreds of hours of demanding negotiations, mediations and workshops.

I am the founder of CMMA, a mediator, conflict coach, mentor and lawyer. My practice draws on an understanding of how decision-making processes and human behaviour work, which I combine with hands-on mediation, negotiation and the handling of difficult communication situations under pressure.

I work in commercial, workplace and family mediation, legal negotiation, and individual conflict coaching and mentoring, particularly for attorneys, managers, leaders and representatives of public institutions. Through specialised training and educational programmes, I help clients understand the physiological and psychological responses of the human brain to stress, develop effective communication and handle conflicts in a constructive way.

I believe that even in the most difficult conflict situations, it is always about relationships, and that it is therefore possible to find a way to resolve them successfully through an understanding of human behaviour and respectful communication.

I am a mediator, mentor, trainer and special educator with more than twenty years of experience in education, people leadership and counselling. I combine many years of experience as a school headteacher with expertise in communication, mediation and special education.

I work in family, interpersonal and workplace mediation, provide counselling for children and parents, and support pupils with special educational needs. Through mentoring and training programmes I support headteachers and teachers in their professional development and help schools shape their vision, develop their school culture and build an environment founded on trust and cooperation.

I believe that good relationships are built on respectful communication and a willingness to look for shared solutions.

Mgr. Ing. Tereza Kopřivová

Project and event manager | Client communication

I am a project and event manager. In my work I combine a background in economics and law with extensive experience in event organisation, process management and interpersonal communication.

At CMMA I ensure that projects run smoothly, organise training events and am the main point of contact for existing and prospective clients. I also provide overall operational and administrative support for the company, so that everything runs reliably and to a professional standard.

I believe that the key to successful cooperation and dispute resolution is listening, a constructive approach and a genuine effort to understand the needs of both sides.
